Ti Balade
Ti Balade is a tour operator focused on Rodrigues, the island east of Mauritius. It puts together holiday packages, experiences, accommodation, transfers and car rental for visitors who want to see Rodrigues properly. Jordan built its new platform: a bilingual website for travellers, a client area for their trips, and a back office for the team.

The challenge
Rodrigues is small, quiet and less visited than Mauritius, so travellers often struggle to find dependable information, local experiences and joined-up logistics such as flights, transfers, accommodation and a car.
Behind the scenes, a small tour operator juggles enquiries, travellers’ documents, hotel contracts, invoices and payments. Ti Balade needed one system for both sides: a clear website for travellers and a back office for the team.

A travel website in English and French
Experiences, destinations, packages, accommodation, car rental, a Rodrigues travel guide, a journal, reviews and FAQs, in English and French.

Packages with live prices and a trip planner
Ready-made packages show a price calendar so travellers can pick dates and see a quote, and a step-by-step planner helps them describe a custom trip. Requests arrive as structured enquiries.

A client area for each trip
Travellers can sign in to see their trips, itinerary, documents, invoices and payments, a wishlist and notifications.

A back office for the team
Leads, trips, travellers and their documents, packages with printable PDF flyers, partner hotels and contract rates, invoices, reports with CSV exports, tasks, journal articles and testimonials.
How it is built
- Stack
- Next.js 16, a self-hosted Supabase database with row-level security, Tailwind CSS, Vitest and Playwright tests, and Storybook for the interface components.
- Launch preparation
- The platform runs on a preview address with search indexing switched off until launch. Redirects from the old WordPress pages of tibalade.mu are prepared so existing links and search rankings carry over.
Outcome and status
Ti Balade is operating and accepting trip enquiries. Itineraries, prices and availability are confirmed individually for each enquiry.
The new platform is built and running ahead of its launch on tibalade.mu.
