Privacy notice

Last updated 18 October 2026.

This notice explains what personal data jordanbienvenue.com handles and why. The website is operated by Jordan Bienvenue, Trou d'Eau Douce, Mauritius. Questions about this notice can be sent to contact@jordanbienvenue.com.

Enquiries

When you send the contact form, the details you enter — your name, email address, organisation if given, enquiry type and message — are sent by email so that your enquiry can be answered. They are used only to reply to you and to follow up on the enquiry you made. They are not sold, shared for marketing or added to a mailing list.

Enquiry emails are sent through the website’s own mail server, hosted by Hetzner, and stored in the inbox that receives them. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and any resulting work, and then deleted.

If your enquiry concerns one of the ventures — Miel.mu, Fretolia, Ti Balade or Anavrin Mixed Farming — it may be passed to the people who run that venture so that they can reply.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel processes technical information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver pages and keep the service secure. The contact form also uses your IP address briefly to limit repeated submissions.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and it does not load third-party trackers. Fonts are served from this website rather than from an external font service.

Links to other websites

This website links to other sites, such as miel.mu, fretolia.com, plants.jordanbienvenue.com and scoutsmauritius.org. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data held about you from an enquiry by writing to contact@jordanbienvenue.com. In Mauritius, personal data is protected by the Data Protection Act 2017.
