Jordan Bienvenue is a technology consultant and front-end engineer based in Mauritius. Since 2017, Jordan has worked on digital media platforms at La Sentinelle Digital in Mauritius and Ringier Medien Schweiz in Switzerland. Jordan also builds React and Next.js applications, improves infrastructure and business workflows, and runs ventures including Miel.mu, Fretolia and Ti Balade.
What is AEO, and how is it different from SEO?
SEO (search engine optimisation) helps pages rank in search results. AEO (answer engine optimisation) helps your content be selected as a direct answer by search features and AI assistants. Both depend on crawlable pages, clear structure and accurate structured data; AEO puts more emphasis on concise, answer-first content.
What was Google SGE?
SGE, the Search Generative Experience, was Google’s name for its experiment with AI-generated answers in search. It evolved into AI Overviews. The underlying principles — clear, trustworthy, well-structured content — still apply.
Can you guarantee search rankings or inclusion in AI answers?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings or AI citations. What can be done is to remove technical barriers, structure content clearly and mark it up accurately, which gives your pages the best chance.
Do you work with clients outside Mauritius?
Yes. Jordan Bienvenue has worked remotely for Ringier Medien Schweiz in Switzerland since 2023, after several years with La Sentinelle Digital in Mauritius. Delivery arrangements are discussed for each engagement.
